Fair Use Policy
Effective date: 2 October 2026
Pro has no post limit. This Fair Use Policy explains what that means, so every event on slideshow.is (the "Service") runs smoothly. The Service is provided by Slidesome ehf, Icelandic company registration number (kennitala) 410618-0790, based in Iceland ("slideshow.is", "we", "us", or "our"). It is part of our Terms of Use.
1. What Pro Is For
A Pro slideshow is for one event: the photos, videos and messages your guests post to it, shown on your screens and kept in its album for the time your plan keeps them. Each event gets its own slideshow.
2. What Fair Use Looks Like
A big wedding, festival night or company party usually has a few hundred to a few thousand posts. Pro is built for that and well beyond it: up to 20,000 posts in one slideshow is fair use.
3. Going Past 20,000 Posts
If a slideshow reaches 20,000 posts, new posts wait in its queue. Nothing is lost. Email us at hello@slideshow.is and, for a real event, we will make room for them. If you expect a very large event, tell us before it starts.
4. What Is Not Fair Use
- Using a slideshow to store, back up or share files that are not from the event.
- Running many events, or a feed that never ends, through one slideshow.
- Posting in bulk with scripts or other automated tools.
- Anything our Terms of Use do not allow.
5. What We May Do
If a slideshow's use goes clearly beyond this policy, we will contact its owner first when we can. We may pause new posts to it, or suspend it as described in our Terms of Use. Our Refund Policy still applies.
