Refund Policy

Effective date: 2 October 2026

This Refund Policy explains when refunds are available for purchases of slideshow.is (the "Service") and how to ask for one. The Service is provided by Slidesome ehf, Icelandic company registration number (kennitala) 410618-0790, based in Iceland ("slideshow.is", "we", "us", or "our").

1. Who Processes Payments

Purchases are processed by Paddle.com as our merchant of record. Paddle handles payment, receipts, and VAT or sales tax. Paddle issues refunds on our instruction or where your statutory rights require one.

2. One Payment per Event

Basic and Pro are one-time payments for one slideshow. There is no subscription, nothing renews, and you are never charged again for that slideshow.

3. Money-Back Guarantee

If a paid plan does not work out for your event, email us within 30 days of your purchase and we will refund you in full. You don't have to give a reason.

If no guest has posted to the slideshow yet, you can ask for a refund at any time within 12 months of your purchase.

4. Billing Errors

We will refund in full any charge that is duplicated, is for the wrong amount, or results from a fault on our side. There is no time limit on reporting a billing error.

5. EU and UK Consumers

If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you generally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a service purchase. For digital services, that right lapses once you begin using the Service during the 14-day period after agreeing to early access. This reflects the withdrawal terms in Paddle's buyer terms. Our money-back guarantee in Section 3 applies in addition to that right, and your other statutory rights are not affected.

6. After a Refund

A refunded slideshow goes back to the Free plan and its limits. Photos and videos are not deleted because of the refund itself: they are then kept as on the Free plan, so download anything you want to keep.

7. How to Ask for a Refund

Email hello@slideshow.is with the email you signed in with, the receipt, or other details that help us find the purchase. You can also contact Paddle directly at paddle.net.
